"235 Repeater Group"
The newly formed "235 Repeater Group" is a group of hams whose concentration and dedication is towards advancing the Amateur Radio hobby thru a group approach, basically we help each other. Be it antenna questions, rig problems, operating, RFI, etc., we use the group approach to help each other.

The group focuses on rag-chewing, helping and elmering both new hams as well as current hams, VE Testing sessions, and experimenting with the many facets of Amateur Radio.
The group can be found on two repeaters, 145.235 and 448.150. The 145.235 utilizes a 131.8 PL Tone, the 448.150 utilizes a 100.0 PL Tone.
Specifications:
- Icom RP-1520 Commercial 25-watt synthesized VHF repeater.
- CTCSS Encode/Decode.
- S-COM 7330 controller.
- HyGain G6-144 vertical antenna (6dB gain @ 70 feet)
- Times Microwave LMR-600 feedline.
- Wacom Bp-Br duplexer's (three cans on transmit, three cans on receive).
- This repeater is coordinated as a "wide-coverage" system, extending into both Colorado and Nebraska.
- Dell GX240 Optiplex desktop computer, running Windows XP Professional SP3 and Echolink sofware.
- January 31, 2009 - Echolink Node 82001 is NOW ACTIVE and functioning on the 145.235 repeater!
- Repeater is located at the old air traffic control tower next to the Cheyenne Airport Terminal building.
- LAT 41 deg, 9 min, 21 sec NORTH (41.2 North)
- LON 104 deg, 48 min, 59 sec WEST (104.8 West)
Future Enhancements
- Extensive on-going linking project, increasing coverage to the Panhandle of Nebraska and north of Laramie County.
