The 145.235 repeater is a private but open repeater.  The system consists of an:

• Icom RP-1520 Commercial 25-watt synthesized VHF repeater.
• CTCSS Encode transmits for use use with PL Decoders.
• S-COM 7330 controller.
• Wacom Bp-Br duplexer's (three cans on transmit, three cans on receive).
• This repeater is coordinated as a "wide-coverage" system, extending into both Colorado and Nebraska.
• Dell GX240 Optiplex desktop computer, running Windows XP Professional SP3 and Echolink sofware.

Future Enhancements

• Replace the CAT-300DX and RBS-1000 with a new top of the line S-COM 7330 Controller.
• (Jan. 2008) Switch to the S-COM 7330 controller completed.  Repeater going through a burn in and testing phase before being placed back it's normal site.
• (Mar. 2008) 2 month burn in period completed.  New controller works FLAWLESSLY!
• (Apr. 2008) Looking into different tower sites - check back for updates
• (Sep. 2008) Adding Echolink.  The node number is " 82001 ", which is the zip code for Cheyenne
• Purchase and install a new Hygain G6 vertical repeater antenna; including a new run of Times Microwave LMR-600 coax.
• Extensive on-going linking project, increasing coverage to the Panhandle of Nebraska and north of Laramie County.

Back in mid-2007 we lost our site west of Cheyenne and are desperately seeking a new site.  If you have, or know of any site, that would be receptive to the placement of an amateur repeater please let me know!
